In the Department of Energy Problems of the IPTPN SB RAS, an experimental stand for a solar heat supply system based on the evacuated solar tube collector was assembled. During the experiment the values of incident solar radiation on the collector surface were measured with a measurement period of 5 minutes and the corresponding thermal energy received from the evacuated solar tube collector. The experimental data obtained made it possible to study the efficiency of the vacuum solar collector in the climatic conditions of Yakutsk (Central Yakutia). Features of the operation of the solar heating system in low temperature conditions have been identified. Recommendations are given to take these features into account. The database of the operation of the solar heating system and the database of solar insolation was developed based on the data obtained.
The article presents the results of an analysis of literary sources. A comparison of the main types of solar collectors has been conducted. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of factors affecting the efficiency of solar power installations in the conditions of the North. The practical experience of implementing solar collectors in Yakutia is considered, demonstrating their operational viability and economic benefits.
