The article presents an analysis of the stylistic characteristics of the English song discourse based on the material of the songs of the «twenty one pilots» group. The modern song text as a phenomenon of mass culture is widespread, primarily due to the fact that such a text has special characteristics in terms of influencing its listeners. In this article, the most used concepts in the song texts of the previously named musical group have been studied. The conclusion is made about the means of linguistic expressiveness and the active use of unique stylistic devices in 26 songs selected using the continuous sampling method from two albums by the American group «twenty one pilots».
