Article is devoted to a problem of violation of formation, actual for logopedics, at school students of spelling skill of the letter. In it results of the pilot study conducted among pupils of the fifth classes allowing to allocate criteria of differential diagnostics for a dizorfografiya otgranicheniye as specific disorder of functioning of the letter from the state representing a consequence of shortcomings of training are analyzed.
