The article is devoted to the place of historical memory and legal culture in the value system. The purpose of the study is to show the role of ideology and legal culture on the formation of state and legal values of modern Russian society, to build a conceptual model of the phenomenon of Russia of the future. The author believes that the actions of subjects of state power of sovereign states will be more effective when basic values are enshrined in the constitution of the state and their constant reflection in the media and educational work.
