the article deals with the problem of insufficient development of methodological and didactic materials aimed at developing the natural science functional literacy of schoolchildren in the framework of teaching physics. Special attention is paid to the practical example of STEAM tasks that develop students' skills in critical thinking, creativity, data interpretation and the application of knowledge in real-life situations. The research results are intended for physics teachers and methodologists interested in modernizing the educational process and creating modern educational materials.
