The article is devoted to the analysis of the work of a famous Japanese director Makoto Shinkai. The author analyzes Shinkai's approach to the creation of his works, the main accents and ways of their im-plementation, as well as the main distinguishing features of Makoto Shinkai's works, their signs and symbol-ism.

The article reveals an understanding of the concept of integrated teaching of the Russian language and literature using the example of Bryusov’s symbolist poetry. The specificity of the poet's artistic language is emphasized, which gives his poems a special meaning.
