This article presents the results of using utility model no. 208666, in the form of a fencing simulator, in the training of fencers between the ages of 10 and 11.

The article discusses one of the most severe speech disorders – rhinolalia caused by congenital cleft lip and palate. The historical stages of the study of rhinolalia are analyzed – descriptive, cumulative, methodical and technological. A detailed analysis of foreign and domestic studies in the field of rhinolalia is presented. The importance of each stage for the development of modern methods for correcting this speech disorder is emphasized.
