The paper is devoted to the key directions of the state educational policy and directions of educational content development. The author analyzes the approaches to the definition of the educational content; defines the conglomerate of educational content problems as an object of complex psychological and mono disciplinary investigation. The psychological expertise of educational content is emphasized at the present stage of modernization of education.
