The paper deals with the main forms of cooperation of the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnodar Region and the young deputies of representative bodies of local self-government. The author focuses on the organ-ization and activities of the Council of young deputies.

The article is devoted to the signs of a democratic political regime, indicating its implementation in the Russian Federation. The author points out the relevance of this topic due to the fact that, according to the states considered the most developed in terms of democracy, the Russian Federation allegedly violates democratic principles. Using the norms of the Constitution of the Russian Federation and the Regulations of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, as well as examples of public participation in the political life of the country, the author refutes the opinion of Western leaders and confirms the existence of a democratic political regime in the Russian state.
