The article examines a fragment of the lexicon of dialect speakers reflecting traditional spiritual culture. Using the material of linguistic means correlated with the topic «National etiquette, norms of moral behavior in society, community», it is shown what culturally significant information is transmitted in the speech of speakers of the Don and Ukrainian dialects common in the Volgograd region.

The article presents the results of the analysis of the speech of dialect speakers living in multi-ethnic settlements of the Volgograd region, in terms of expressing key concepts of spiritual culture. Lexical means have been identified that convey aspects of the spiritual and cultural worldview that are important for the Don Cossacks and Ukrainian settlers and their descendants. It was established that issues of family relationships, ethnocultural self-identification, lifestyle, religious beliefs, as well as associated rituals, traditions and customs are of significance for residents of the studied areas.
