The article presents the results of an experimental study of the ability to understand and use prepositions in older preschoolers with general speech underdevelopment. Systemic disorders caused by insufficient formation of spatial representations have been identified. The levels of skill formation are determined and their qualitative characteristics are described. The necessity of purposeful speech therapy work is substantiated.
