The article is devoted to enhancing the effectiveness of the university activity in the competitive environment. The concept of corporate culture of the university, its functions, forms of manifestation are discussed. The role of corporate culture in the development of the university is defined in this article. The results of the corporate culture research in the modern pedagogical university are described.
