The article points out the shortcomings of verbal speech and its semantic aspect in case of autism spectrum disorders. A psychological and pedagogical technology is proposed, aimed at developing the ability in preschoolers with this disorder to understand and give information. The author of the article highlights the specifics of verbal and non-verbal material combination when presenting tasks and organizing the activities of children with autism spectrum disorders. The conditions necessary for the remedial work are specified.
