The article is devoted to measuring the heat transfer resistance of children's outerwear. And its suitability for use in the harsh climatic conditions of Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) in winter. How much retains heat and protects those who will wear jackets of this manufacturer from frostbite and hypothermia. As a research method, a stationary method of measuring thermal conductivity was used by installing heat flux converters on warm and cold sides. The cold side is taken as -35 degrees Celsius in the Binder climate chamber, which creates a temperature difference for measuring heat flux.
