. Formation of the structure elements and yield of winter soft wheat varieties bred in KrasnodarThe article is devoted to a comparative assessment of new varieties of winter soft wheat bred by the P.P. Lukyanenko Research Center (Krasnodar) in ecological variety testing (ESI). The results on the yield and structure elements of the new varieties of cultivated crops are presented. The varietal features of the formation of the number of grains in the ear and the weight of 1,000 grains, which determine the level of their productivity, have been established. The most highly productive varieties have been identified, which optimally combine the elements of crop structure for specific agro-climatic conditions.

This article presents the results of an ecological trial of sunflower hybrids on ordinary chernozem soil in the southern zone of the Rostov Region. Based on the results of the study, sunflower hybrids were identified that demonstrated high productivity and good seed quality under the prevailing weather conditions. The resistance of the hybrids to environmental stress factors was assessed, and the most adaptive and flexible ones were identified. Hybrids that exhibited the best parameters of economically valuable traits and provided the highest oil yield per hectare were recommended for agricultural production.
