The paper deals with an overview of risk assessment techniques of a commercial enterprise. The characteristics of qualitative and quantitative risk assessments based on probability models and methods of parameters calculation are considered. The statistical methods of risk assessment are also studied.

The article represents a review of Russian and foreign scientific works devoted to the study of the essence and economic origin of risk initiation in trade. General definitions of risk, its types, commercial risks of enterprise trade are considered. The article also presents The quantitative risk assessment based on probabilistic models and their parameters calculation methods are given.
