This article discusses the problem of prevention and methods of improving the quality of citizens ' interaction with state authorities on issues of security and opposing the threats of terrorism and extremism. On the basis of legal acts analysis, the authors present practical recommendations for improving the effectiveness of anti-terrorism measures.
