The article analyzes the concept of investments, their forms, types, as well as the impact on the economic climate in the country. The authors give characteristic of the structure of the main countries-investors in the economy of Russia, and countries-recipients of direct investments from the Russian Federation. It is concluded that investment is the "lever" of progressive formation and positive action for the economic processes in the country.

The article discusses the issues of pedagogical control of students’ theoretical and practical knowledge. The authors consider features, advantages and disadvantages of using testing in modern education as a method of students' knowledge pedagogical control at the institutions of secondary vocational and higher education. Particular attention is paid to the use of computer-based online testing, its types and technologies used in educational activities.

The authors of this article reveal the essence and application of classical and specialized methods for analyzing the financial and economic activities of construction organizations in modern conditions with the aim of increasing their profitability, rate of return and attractiveness for investors.
