In the article the method of application of modern instruments and devices in the experimental studies carried out at the Laboratory of Vibrational Hydrodynamics of Perm State Humanitarian Pedagogical University (PSHPU). In particular, the detailed methodology is given on the example of a digital camera Basler A402k to formulate and conduct of scientific experiment with the use of high-speed video and to post-process the experimental data. The article can be used as a methodological guide for the students of the Physics Department in the special course “Fluid Dynamics and Vibrational Hydrodynamics”
