The paper presents formed on the basis of the RIA rating data on volumes collected by insurance premiums in 2014 multicore competitive structure of the insurance market in Russia and estimates the level of competition on it.

The paper presents the results of analysis of formation and changes in internal structure of the industry of four hundred major Russian enterprises in 2004-2014, made on the basis of the rating agency “Expert RA in terms of sales (rating “Expert-400”).

The paper analyzes the structure of the global economic system based on the rating of the World Bank in terms of nominal gross domestic product of 190 countries in the world for 2013, revised in December 2014. The analysis was conducted using the author's technique of separation of market participants on their competence using criteria for selection of large, medium and small nuclei.
