The paper offers guidelines for studying the topic “Comparative momentum” in the 8th grade. The authors focus on the development exercises and control tasks to study, secure and check the acquired material on the subject.

The authors propose guidelines for studying the theme "Appeal" at Russian lessons in the eighth grade of secondary school. Particular emphasis in the understanding of the theme is on the acquisition of cognitive skills of students, teaching and research and design activities, resolve problem situations, independent search methods for solving practical problems, self-analysis and self-assessment of learning activities. The use of language as a material of original prose and poetry writer and symbolist Andrey Bely is of great interest.

The paper is dedicated to theoretical basics of the topic “Isolated adverbs” as part of section “Simple expanded sentence” for students of the 8th form. Besides, the authors of the paper propose various forms and methods of work in order to develop the appropriate punctuation skills and knowledge.
