The researches’ actuality is determinated by the necessity of important old artworks’ reconsideration in a new epoch with the help of modern stylistic device and with the necessity to determine new scientific approaches in the context of social, political, cultural and moral aspects, to study works of art by Charles Dickens from the scientific point of view. The present research aims to prove the availability of the repetitions’ study, the examination of their stylistics peculiarities, their role in providing information, using as a means of language expressiveness in belletristic literature and efficient impact on potential readers. Works of art by Charles Dickens «Bleak House» and «The Pickwick papers» were the materials of investigation. In the research the repetitions’ species used by Charles Dickens for expressing his main ideas and for creating colorful images of his characters were determined.

The authors propose guidelines for studying the theme "Appeal" at Russian lessons in the eighth grade of secondary school. Particular emphasis in the understanding of the theme is on the acquisition of cognitive skills of students, teaching and research and design activities, resolve problem situations, independent search methods for solving practical problems, self-analysis and self-assessment of learning activities. The use of language as a material of original prose and poetry writer and symbolist Andrey Bely is of great interest.
