The relevance of the chosen topic is due to the fact that the state policy in the field of family and marriage is one of the important components of the social policy of any state. At present, in Russian practice, state policy in the field of family and marriage is a system of measures in various fields (economic, legal and social), aimed at improving the conditions for functioning and strengthening the family. Taking into account the fact that the state policy in this area is determined by legal, institutional, social and other elements, it is relevant to study the specifics of the implementation of state policy in the field of family and marriage in the Russian Federation in the current conditions.
This article is devoted to the current trends and problems of the development of the institution of marriage in family law of the Russian Federation. Special attention in the study is paid to the issues of actual and fictitious marital relations.
The article deals with the semantic aspects of the English proverbs about family and family relations. The significance of the research lies in that the proverbial expressions help us understand the role of family in society and the meaning of family relations for an individual. The proverbs describing various aspects of family life have been selected by the method of continuous sampling and analyzed from a semantic point of view. They reflect such functions of family institution as reproduction, parenting, meeting everyday and emotional needs of family members. Preservation of the proverbial expressions about marriage and family relations in oral and written speech of our contemporaries proves that family remains the basis of modern society. Studying the English proverbs about family makes it possible to understand the family values of the English people, while comparing them to their Russian counterparts proves that these values actually coincide.
