In the article, the authors name the tasks of the game method for the development of younger students, give examples of games for teaching English to younger students based on the proposed classification. So, there are preparatory (grammatical, lexical, spelling, phonetic, games for learning the rules of reading) and creative (auditory and speech).
This article concludes about media competence as a goal and result of media education through the prism of linguistic education. Operational relevance of the presented phenomenon, consideration of methods of its application in practice.
The article is focused on the peculiarities of linguistic tourism in modern Russia. The prospects of its development are viewed within their significance for target language and culture learning. The study highlights the advantages of fully immersive trips and linguistic camps that allow the student to be transported into the country where the target language is spoken, without going abroad. The authors put the focus on linguistic tourism as a teaching method.
