Proceeding from new materials the article comments on V. A. Zhukovsky’s acute interest to Crimeantartar realia connected with the Turkish origin of his mother during his travel in the Crimea in September 1837. The writer’s diary materials also allow stating that he arranged a commemoration party with participation of the emperor’s family and numerous guests for the sake of his pupil and junior friend in the year of A. S. Pushkin’s death.

the Article is devoted to the development of third-graders ' semantic reading skills in the process of studying the works of Alexander Pushkin. The article talks about the importance of comprehension in reading, levels, work on the piece before you read: work with the primary analysis (e.g., analysis of the title of the work) and working with discussions.
The article reveals a modern educational approach (Content and Language Integrated Learning), in which a foreign language is used both for studying and teaching another language, and shows the methods of implementation the approach in multicultural regions. It is proved that Сontent and Language Integrated Learning is not just learning in a language, it is learning through a language. The possibilities of an integrative lesson based on fiction and painting are revealed.
