The article examines the current methodology of teaching a foreign language to students of specialized classes of high school using interdisciplinary connections in order to prove the effectiveness of this method. The author uses both theoretical and practical materials; the data of the research experiment in one of the schools of Ryazan is given. The author comes to the conclusion about the high effectiveness of integrative lessons for the formation of foreign language communicative competence of students and their motivation to study.
The article attempts to analyze the novels of the famous writer G. Yakhina when used in the successful integration of Russian and literature lessons.Using the material from the novels “Zuleikha Opens Her Eyes” and “My Children”, the possibility of such integration is consistently examined and described.The directions of possible work and specific linguistic material that can be taken from a work of art and analyzed by students are indicated.Conclusions about the success of using the writer's creativity both in integration and in the process of forming relevant knowledge, skills and abilitiesare made.
The article reveals a modern educational approach (Content and Language Integrated Learning), in which a foreign language is used both for studying and teaching another language, and shows the methods of implementation the approach in multicultural regions. It is proved that Сontent and Language Integrated Learning is not just learning in a language, it is learning through a language. The possibilities of an integrative lesson based on fiction and painting are revealed.
