The article is devoted to the study of mnemic activity of primary school children with mental retardation. The literature on the problem of memory disorders in children of primary school age with mental retardation was studied and analyzed, and a ascertaining experiment was conducted. As a result, the features of the memory of younger schoolchildren were revealed.
