This work is devoted to political activity of Alexei Navalny. In the course of the study, we identified its main methods of speech influence on the audience. The politician uses colloquial, colloquial words, slang, emotionally expressive vocabulary. With the help of spoken language, the impression of live oral communication is created and the main strategy is implemented – the strategy of proximity to the addressee. Thus, his manner of speech impresses the young audience.
The article analyzes the language and style of the texts of the blog of opposition politician A. Navalny on the social network Instagram. Attention is drawn to the numerous linguistic techniques with the help of which the author creates dialogism (question-and-answer technique, rhetorical questions, questions to readers, appeals to them, colloquial vocabulary, etc.). A large role in the text of the blog of the category of personality, expressed using personal pronouns, personal forms of the verb, proper nouns, etc. is revealed. The conclusion is drawn about the speech skills and linguistic originality of A. Navalny, who builds his own speech in the blog in such a way as to be as open as possible to the addressees, to create a space for dialogue, lively discussion and easy communication, in which each of the parties is important.
The article analyzes the possibilities of blogging in the political information space. The blog is seen by the authors as an effective tool of political communication. The risks of blogging are indicated: poor verifiability, frequent presence of communicative aggression, manipulativeness.
