The article deals with interactive forms of work that contribute to the formation of communicative competence of schoolchildren.The specifics of using interactive forms of work are considered on the example of the textbook «English in focus» (Spotlight) for the 6th grade of general education institutions. The author comes to the conclusion that there are enough exercises based on interactive forms of work on the pages of the textbook (Spotlight) for the 6th grade that enable schoolchildren to develop their communicative competence. Among them are: «brainstorming», project activities, interviews, role-playing games, “group puzzles”.
Creativity is one of the key components of intellectual and personal development of children, especially gifted ones. In today's world, the ability to think creatively and generate innovative solutions is becoming more and more in demand. However, the development of creativity requires special approaches and methods that take into account the individual characteristics of each child. This article will examine the methods used to develop creativity in gifted children.
