This article is focused on the issue of positive motivation development in the process of professional English studying as a crucial condition of readiness for professional interaction. The authors of the article analyze the ways to increase the cadets’ level of motivation.

This paper covers the issues of military-patriotic education of cadets of military educational institutions, which is aimed not only at teaching practical skills and abilities in military affairs, but also at forming the moral qualities of the individual and ideological attitudes of cadet, which in their totality contribute to the implementation of measures to fulfill civic duty and constitutional obligations to protect the interests of the Motherland.

The article presents in a simplified form the external and internal factors influencing the effectiveness of educational activities of higher military educational institutions in the training of flight personnel in the interests of defense and security of the state. The research is based on a systematic approach.
