This article is devoted to issues related to the approach to the formation of certain strong-willed qualities in cadets-pilots of higher educational aviation institutions of the Ministry of Defense. The role and importance of such qualities in military personnel is noted both in the process of service, the performance of assigned tasks, as well as combat, and in everyday life. The derived classification of efforts aimed at the de-velopment of volitional qualities is presented. In the course of the study, a number of qualities that should be developed in a pilot during training at an educational institution were considered: patience, perseverance, perseverance, purposefulness. Methods borrowed in diagnostics from psychology and pedagogy, as well as ways to maintain and develop the strong-willed qualities of cadets will be proposed.

The process of traditional spiritual and moral values formation among cadets of educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia is rapidly improved with innovative forms of education. The spiritual and moral upbringing of young police officers is an important preventive tool that allows them to acquire professionally important qualities of police officers and ensures the protection of society from negative informational and psychological effects. The article examines the specifics of the formation of spiritual and moral values among police cadets, shows the relevance of this area of educational work. The current approaches to improving work with the personnel of cadet units are revealed. A detailed and systematic analysis of domestic and foreign literature on the topic of the work has been made. The purpose of the study is to reveal the prospects of using modern information technology tools to form the value-conceptual sphere of personalities of cadets in educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. To solve the research problem, the questionnaire method was used, supplemented by a combination of techniques: interviewing, pedagogical discussion, method of studying and generalizing pedagogical experience. The results of the article are to enrich the methodology of pedagogical science with understanding of the effectiveness of basic information technology tools for the formation of spiritual and moral values among police officers. The theoretical significance of the article consists in updating and substantiating the methodological foundations of the use of modern information technology tools for the formation of spiritual and moral values among cadets of educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The understanding of the importance of the spiritual and moral education of police officers in modern conditions of digitalization and globalization has been expanded. The practical significance lies in the description of the methodological foundations of the use of modern information technology tools for the formation of spiritual and moral values and the assessment of their effectiveness by leading teachers in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The necessity of improving the system of spiritual and moral education of police officers with modern information and technical pedagogical means and methods is revealed.

In the conditions of modern hybrid information warfare, it is important to be in the right system of value coordinates for every person. Modern young people must be protected from the negative informational and psychological impact of the media by fostering their informational and psychological stability based on the developed value-meaning sphere. This article discusses the issues of the formation of spiritual and moral values and life orientations among cadets serving in the internal affairs bodies. Patriotic indoctrination is considered by the authors as the most relevant area of work with the police personnel. At the same time, one of the priority areas of pedagogy is the improvement of methods and technologies for the formation of a sense of patriotism and the spiritual and moral sphere of a person. The value and life-meaning orientations of the cadets were chosen as the object of the study. The aim of the study is to characterize the specifics of the life-meaning orientations of cadets who want to become police officers, and to provide data from experimental work conducted on the basis of traditional spiritual and moral values on the formation of a sense of patriotism as the personal value basis of police cadets. The work has practical value for the activities of the internal affairs bodies in terms of patriotic and spiritual and moral education of young police officers. The theoretical significance of the article lies in clarifying the place and role of patriotism in the value structure of a person and in analyzing current research areas in the field of spiritual and moral education of youth. The authors draw reasonable conclusions about the reasons for the assessment of certain values importance by police officers. The respondents' responses show that preservice police officers consciously made their professional choice, deciding to devote their lives to serving the community, and becoming involved in ensuring the national interests of our Fatherland. The overwhelming majority of subjects possess the necessary set of values that allow cadets to develop a patriotically oriented worldview.
The history of the Cossacks occupies a significant place in the political, military, social and economic history of Russia. Cossack troops significantly contributed to the unification of representatives of various ethnic, social and religious groups, turning them into unified socio-cultural communities.
Cossacks were an important component of the army and took part in various military operations, contributing to the victories of the Russian army. The problem of civic and patriotic education is relevant, the article proposes a model based on the use of the cultural and historical heritage of the country. Special attention is paid to patriotic education, since a Cossack is not a Cossack who does not know the history of his Homeland and does not love it.
