The article deals with the problem of forming a calligraphic skill in junior schoolchildren. The reasons for handwriting violations in younger schoolchildren are analyzed, graphical errors in the training of calligraphic writing. Various ways of eliminating calligraphic errors are presented. The main conditions and criteria for the development of calligraphy in younger schoolchildren are described.
