The article says that the creation of the site and its subsequent development will improve not only the level of ICT competence of the teacher, but also the level of subject and methodological competence, which is due to the following factor – the site as an information resource accessible to other users, obliges the scientist and the teacher conduct their systematization before the placement of scientific and methodological materials. In the future, the teacher and the scientist can design their work, studying the necessary information of the site, choosing those headings that are especially interesting and useful to her/him. So the site really becomes a means of managing the scientific and professional development of the teacher, her/his ICT competence and another step in achieving compliance with the professional standard of the teacher.

The article deals with the issues of professional development and competence development of teachers, as well as the peculiarities of the influence of the administration of a children's educational institution on these processes. The article describes the practical experience of kindergarten № 27 in the development and implementation of a professional development program for teachers aimed at introducing modern and innovative technologies into the teaching process.
