The article considers the problems of legal regulation of consumer rights protection in the Russian Federation in relation to the peculiarities of conclusion and execution of contracts for remote sale. The author concludes that due to the demand and mass use of electronic commerce, the development of legislation in the sphere of consumer rights protection in this area requires constant timely development and improvement.
Consumer relationships are characterized by their diversity and dynamic development. The opportunity to earn huge profits at the expense of consumers stimulates entrepreneurs to look for new ways to sell goods, to do it more expensively and with minimal costs. These actions do not always coincide with the observance of consumer rights, and this obligation turns into a secondary problem.
