The article discusses the importance of knowledge about the structure of matter geological sites in the geological formation of the technique and organization of the educational and research process using a coring object in the preparation of specialists in geology of oil and gas.

The article deals with the national and cultural specific features of the comprehension of the colour naming “rot” in the German world picture. There is analyzed the quantitative and quality content of the red colour microsystem in German, the semantics of the peripheral shadow names created by the comparison with the subjects of the outside world.
