The article considers the historical and geographical prerequisites for the emergence of Moscow as the economic and political center of the country at the dawn of the formation of Russian statehood. Particular importance is attached to the aspects of the physical and geographical situation, position status, position at the intersection of transport and migration flows. The comparative analysis of the advantages of the geographical position of Moscow and the position of other ancient Russian cities claiming the status of the capital are subjected to comparative analysis.
The article deals with the national and cultural specific features of the comprehension of the colour naming “rot” in the German world picture. There is analyzed the quantitative and quality content of the red colour microsystem in German, the semantics of the peripheral shadow names created by the comparison with the subjects of the outside world.
The article reveals the problem of the functioning of ideological vocabulary in two closely related languages, Russian and Czech in the traditional understanding of the pragmatic and communicative aspects. First of all, the issues of the dynamics of this vocabulary in diachronic and synchronous aspects and movement along the center-periphery axis in both languages are considered.
