the article discusses the methodological issues of using the metasystem approach to analyze the crisis that occurs during the professionalization of the teacher - the “crisis of professional self-affirmation”. A metasystem study plan for this category at the methodological and theoretical levels of generalization is described. An understanding of the crisis of teacher’s professional self-affirmation as a metasystem education is presented, which is functionally integrated into the system of professional activity and has a significant impact on the work of the entire system of teacher’s professional activity - professional self-assertion, changing the content and functional relationships within the components of this system.
