The article describes the modern educational situation and digital learning as web-based learning, which effectively uses information technology to transfer knowledge to schoolchildren. It is proposed to consider the research abilities of primary school students as necessary for further education in the middle school level. When developing the research abilities of younger schoolchildren, the author recommends taking into account the aspects of digital learning (free choice of the place of study, the opportunity to attend online classes at your discretion, including digitized academic content without leaving your home).
