The article discusses the use of modern means of automated support for the work of the teacher in the educational process. As an example, the capabilities of the Advanced Tester software are considered. The main attention is paid to the description of the technology of individual testing in the context of the construction of optimal individual learning paths. Namely, the techniques of work in the Advanced Tester program, related to the formation of the graph model of educational material and the system of test tasks, are described.
