This paper presents the educational innovations that are used in the preparation of specialists for the defense industry, including the continuity of academic disciplines, the use of simulation technologies through virtual lab, introduction of interactive techniques to enhance the cognitive activity of students.

The article offers recommendations on improving the efficiency of transformation in the context of digitalization of higher professional education of an academic lecture into a video lecture, based on the study of the results of students' perception of video lectures.
