The paper actualize the spread of electric vehicles on the transport market (both Russian and the world ones). The authors analyzes the dynamics of sold cars on various fuels types (gas, diesel, gasoline) in Russia and compares the sales of cars and electric vehicles in relation to the dynamics of energy prices.

The article describes a correlation of technical and scientific terms translation from French into Russian in pragmatic aspect. A connection between functional characteristics of a terminology’s and pragmatic factors of terms translation is revealed.
