There is the analysis of the problem connected with the words’ translation with the emotional component. This word group usually causes difficulties during the intercultural communication process.

The paper regards the means of maintaining the force of fictional titles of the English origin in the process of translation from English into Russian. The analysis proves that the most acceptable ways of translating titles and maintaining their pragmatic force are transformation and substitution. The choice depends on linguistic and cultural peculiarities of the target language.
The article is devoted to the study of the main speech strategies and tactics in circus discourse on the example of communication between members of the circus collective. The article discusses the basic concepts for research – speech strategy, speech tactics, discourse. Moreover, there is a problem to describe generally accepted classification of speech strategies and tactics. Based on the classification of informative and phatic types of speech behavior the article identifies two main speech strategies and corresponding speech tactics.

The article is devoted to the study of the communicative and pragmatic relevance of Kazakh-language inclusions in the Russian-language press and news Internet resources of Kazakhstan. The increase in inclusions and realities distinguish the media discourse of Kazakhstan, which gives it a special specificity. An analysis of the causes and conditions for the intentional use of inclusions indicates a conscious process of transition to another language with a certain illocutionary level. Interspersing, including cultural information, a system of symbols, require a certain knowledge of the cultural background, partly the Kazakh language for a full understanding of the texts.
