This article analyzes the semantic structure and cultural roots of axiological metaphors found in Uzbek and English. Axiological metaphors are an important means of expressing the moral, aesthetic, and emotional values of the people through language. They are actively used to give a positive or negative assessment of a person, behavior, or event. The study studies metaphors specific to both languages and reveals their role in the national mentality and cultural thinking. Semantic shifts, cultural ambiguities, and linguocultural differences in the translation of metaphors are analyzed. The article is of scientific and practical importance for a deep understanding of axiological lexicon, translation studies, and effective intercultural communication.
