This paper reviews scientific literature regarding the effects of internet-technologies on the formation of modern-day students' value systems. We have conducted an empirical research, the goal of which is to reveal the connection between the duration of usage of internet-technologies by students and the specifics of their value systems. We have also tried to reveal the connection between the goals of internet usage by students and their need for communication.
This article examines the problem of personal value orientations. The analysis of domestic and foreign studies on this topic is carried out. A brief theoretical overview of various theories and concepts that study the value orientations of the individual is given. The phenomenon of values, their characteristics, content and functions are analyzed.
Back in 2021, at the level of the state authorities of the Russian Federation, it was stated that an information war was being waged against the population of our country by the United States, England and their satellites – Western Europe. Information warfare has been defined as «mental», affecting people's consciousness and their basic value orientations. Today, after the beginning of a special military operation in the Donbass on February 24, the conduct of an information war or its expanded version of the «mental» one against Russia has acquired the scale of a world war. The article discusses the results of the study of the existing value system of cadets of a military flight university in a given period of time. The respondents of the survey are representatives of the 2nd year of study and graduates of a helicopter military university, who have a high probability of getting into real combat operations in the foreseeable future.
The article is devoted to the formation of a socio-cultural picture of the world when learning a foreign language. The social landscape against which the UK's public school is viewed is the historically rigid stratification of English society, low social mobility and consensus between the classes. Being the basis of the educational system, the school cements modern society, fends off attacks from the outside. The concept of ‘service’ is central to its students’ ethos. Analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of British education, it is necessary to borrow its best sides, bearing in mind our own historically formed cultural traditions. Russians who want to get education in the United Kingdom should also first take into account the realities of this country in order to soberly assess their capabilities.
The problem of youth values is relevant, despite the fact that many scientists have been interested in this problem, questions about the true and false values of modern adolescents have not been studied enough. 5.2. Goals and methods. The purpose of the study is to identify and analyze the value system of modern adolescents. The following methods are used in the article: survey and testing, using the methodology of M. Rokich's «Value orientations». 5.3. Results. The conducted pilot study showed that the surveyed group of modern adolescents is dominated by true values that are associated with health, spiritual balance, passion for activities, etc. False values, such as hedonism, were observed only in individual adolescents. At the same time, the survey results showed that teenagers also attach great importance to a busy life and career. 5.4. Conclusion. The data obtained indicate that in modern adolescents there is a predominance of true values over false ones
