The article considers the key features of the implementation of national projects in conditions of limited resources. The article analyzes the main problems faced by regions in implementing the tasks of national projects and proposes mechanisms to improve the efficiency of using available resources. Special attention is paid to the optimization of management, attraction of extra-budgetary sources of financing and use of digital technologies for monitoring the results. Based on the analysis of successful practices of Russian regions and international experience, specific mechanisms to improve the efficiency of national projects implementation are proposed. The results of the study can be used to develop development strategies at all levels of management.
