The article is devoted to the problem of organization of Student Olympiads as one of the effective forms of extracurricular work of university students. The article describes the experience of organizing the Foreign Languages Olympiad movement at Omsk State Agricultural University. The study allows to come to a conclusion about the effectiveness of the Foreign Languages Chair instructors’ work for organizing the extracurricular activities of students.
The article presents the results of testing the effectiveness of the extracurricular work program on the formation of a healthy lifestyle of younger schoolchildren in the process of extracurricular work, it is concluded that the formation of a younger schoolchildren of a valuable orientation on a healthy lifestyle during this work; use of active forms and methods of work; building partnerships between teachers, students and their parents.
The article reveals the need for the formation of ethical ideas among younger students in extracurricular work. Diagnostics was carried out, during which it turned out that not all children have sufficiently formed ethical ideas. The content of the formative stage of empirical research with students of the 4th grade, aimed at the formation of ethical ideas in extracurricular work, is shown.
The article provides examples of the development of speech activity of students during excursions based on interdisciplinary connections for foreign students at the initial stage of studying the Russian language and other subjects, as a result of which the cognitive, mental, speech activity of students develops. The task of teachers is to interest foreign students in the topic of the excursion, to stimulate their desire to learn, see and remember more during the excursion, and then to use the acquired knowledge in practice.
