The protection of the enterprise from external threats and risks is the main task of the economic security of the enterprise. Particular attention should be paid to financial security as a priority area when developing an economic security mechanism. The article provides arguments for the need to separate the two concepts and their interrelation.

The importance of the digital economy in the modern world is undeniable – every day we encounter it through modern digital technologies, such as various platforms, services, electronic money, etc. The impact of the digital economy has become especially noticeable due to the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, when the world of material money and real purchases has receded into the background, and secure digital settlements and markets have taken its place. But, developing, the digital market began to show related problems associated primarily with the lack of security of this type of economy. These problems have manifested themselves especially vividly in the current conditions of unprecedented sanctions by foreign states. Thus, this work is aimed at identifying existing problems at the present stage of Russia's political and social development, as well as possible ways to solve them.

The article analyzes legal means of ensuring financial security from the point of view of the system that these funds form. Classification of financial security means was conducted, the main elements of classification were identified.

The article discusses the issues of economic security, financial monitoring, financial and legal aspects in the field of countering the legalization of proceeds from crime. This topic is of particular interest to study, since financial security is an integral element of economic security and requires constant improvement.
