the Article is devoted to the review and analysis of modern studies of professional self-determination and the difficulties associated with it. The concept of professional self-determination is revealed. Special attention is paid to the description of the functions of professional self-determination and analysis of the main problems of professional self-determination. The article concludes with a meaningful description of some areas of work to address the identified problems of professional self-determination.
The article substantiates the relevance of the study of functions in the primary school. Based on the analysis of control and measurement materials, the main types of tasks of the 23 OGE in mathematics are identified, the thematic plan of the elective course "Solving problems for building and analyzing graphs of functions" for students of the 9th grade of the main school is presented.

The review of the components and functions of pedagogical artistry in the context of professional activity is carried out. The data of an empirical study of the awareness of students-future teachers about pedagogical artistry are analyzed, the technologies of its formation in the process of their studies at the university are outlined.
