The paper is devoted to the improvement of the teaching process in a technical university by using the virtual laboratories. The author develops the kinds of possible structures of the virtual laboratories for hydraulics and ship’s theory.
This article discusses the use of virtual laboratory work in the learning process. The main characteristics of the work of virtual laboratory work, their stages of implementation are indicated, as well as the positive and negative aspects of the work of virtual and real laboratory work by comparing them. For the reliability of the information, a comparative analysis of the results of real and virtual laboratory work of students was carried out. The relevance of this study lies in considering the possibility of improving the efficiency of the educational process through the introduction of information technology in the educational process.
