The paper is devoted to the improvement of the teaching process in a technical university by using the virtual laboratories. The author develops the kinds of possible structures of the virtual laboratories for hydraulics and ship’s theory.

The paper is devoted to the description of the maintenance of the course “additional parts of the theory of ships” in teaching process of technical university. The author describes the different techniques of theoretical, experimental approaches and the computer test using. The lab-research, the lecture and student’s testing contents are discussed.
